3 1/4 cups fresh green beans, cut into 1” pieces or 1 lb frozen
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups diced celery
4-5 fresh mushrooms, sliced or 1 small can
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 beef bouillon cube or 1 tsp powdered bouillon
1 tbsp soy sauce
In a medium saucepan, combine beans, salt and enough water to cover the beans. Bring to a boil; boil until tender. Drain, reserving 1 cup of the water. In a large skillet, cook the celery and mushrooms in the oil under tender crisp. Combine reserved water with cornstarch, bouillon and soy sauce. Stir into celery mixture. Add beans. Cook and stir until mixture thickens and boils.
